Washington, D.C. — Today, Republican Main Street Caucus Chair Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) & Vice Chair Stephanie Bice (R-OK) issued a statement following passage of the Fiscal Responsibility Act (H.R. 3746). The bill passed the U.S. House 314-117.

Washington, D.C. — Today, members of the Republican Main Street Caucus sent a letter to President Biden and Senate Majority Leader Schumer urging them to negotiate in good faith with Speaker McCarthy on the Limit, Save, Grow Act to lower spending and responsibly raise the debt limit.

The priorities include three pillars: Save Taxpayer Money, Reduce the Deficit, and Grow the Economy.

Stephanie Bice (R-OK-05) was elected Vice-Chair. The Republican Main Street Caucus is a group comprised of Members focused on governing and delivering commonsense, conservative solutions on the kitchen-table issues facing Americans.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Members of the Main Street Caucus today decried the release of President Biden’s busted plan of a budget. This comes at a time of incredibly high inflation, rising oil and natural gas prices, and rising home and rent costs, causing most families to see less and less of their paychecks.

U.S. inflation accelerated to a 7.5% annual rate in January, reaching a four-decade high as strong consumer demand and pandemic-related supply constraints kept pushing up prices.
