WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Republican Main Street Caucus (RMSC) Chairman Rep. Mike Flood (R-Nebraska) and Rep. Nick LaLota (R-New York) led over 45 other caucus members in a letter to the White House praising Border Czar Tom Homan and Sen. Markwayne Mullin, who was recently nominated to lead the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The letter follows a recent RMSC meeting with Homan.

FIRST ON FOX: Nearly 50 House Republicans are writing to President Donald Trumpbacking Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., to lead the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after Kristi Noem's ouster.

The pragmatist GOP Main Street Caucus is taking a formal stance, endorsing Mullin on Monday, as well as backing a targeted crackdown on illegal immigrant criminals in the U.S.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Republican Main Street Caucus Chairman Mike Flood (NE-01) issued a statement following a vote in the House to concur in the Senate amendments to H.R. 7148 - Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026.
 
“Today’s vote on FY26 budget bills represents a significant bipartisan achievement and reopens government agencies which had temporarily closed over the weekend. The House has led the way as Washington returns to regular order and restores fiscal sanity.
