Main Street Caucus Leadership on Trump’s Rescissions: Package Grows Commitment to Fiscal Restraint

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Republican Main Street Caucus Chairman Rep. Dusty Johnson and Vice Chair Rep. Mike Flood released a joint statement following passage of H.R. 4 - Rescissions Act of 2025. 

“This rescissions package codifies important spending cuts identified by the Trump administration. This package ends funding for foreign programs that are antithetical to American values, stops woke gender and climate programs, and reins in wasteful spending. The Republican Main Street Caucus will continue to work with President Trump to get America’s fiscal house in order, and we look forward to additional rescissions packages that continue to stop waste, fraud, and abuse.”
