Main Street Caucus Leadership: Clean CR Keeps Government Open as Congress Works to Deliver Trump Tax Cuts, Control Federal Spending

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Main Street Caucus Chairman Rep. Dusty Johnson and Vice Chair Rep. Mike Flood released a joint statement supporting a long-term Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government through September 30th.

“A CR that funds the government through the end of the fiscal year keeps government working for the people as Congress continues to work to deliver President Trump’s tax cuts and control federal spending through reconciliation. House Democrats have indicated that they will oppose a CR. Voting for a CR pays our military, protects our border, and funds services for veterans - a vote against the CR puts all this at risk.”
