Main Street Caucus Celebrates House Passage of Border Patrol and Immigration Enforcement Funding

June 9, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Republican Main Street Caucus (RMSC) released a statement following final passage of S. 2, also known as the Secure America Act.

"Today, the Republican Main Street Caucus voted to keep our nation's borders secure. White House Border Czar Tom Homan helped deliver many commonsense reforms at ICE and Border Patrol. Despite these reforms, Democrats refused to fund these key agencies that keep Americans safe. Republicans had no choice but to fund ICE and Border Patrol through reconciliation.

Upon President Trump's signature, the brave men and women who protect our communities will finally have assurance that their well-earned paychecks will arrive."

The Republican Main Street Caucus consists of 85+ conservative House Republicans, led by Chairman Mike Flood (NE-01) and Vice Chair Laurel Lee (FL-15).
