WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Republican Main Street Caucus Chair Mike Flood issued a statement regarding the ongoing government shutdown and the need to pass a budget through regular order.

“The Democrat shutdown is harming working Americans. It’s time for Democrats to vote to reopen the government so we can get back to work and get a budget done. While a short-term Continuing Resolution is needed in the interim, we need to pass a fiscally responsible budget that reflects President Trump’s conservative priorities through regular order.”
