Main Street Caucus Chair: Senate Needs to Come Together to Stop a Schumer Shutdown

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Republican Main Street Caucus Chair Mike Flood (R-Nebraska) issued a statement following passage of a Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government through November 21^st. 

“It’s critical that we keep our government working for the people so that we can keep America’s borders secure, pay our troops, and serve our veterans. House Republicans have successfully passed this short-term measure as bipartisan work continues on budget bills. It’s now up to the Senate to come together to stop Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer from shutting down the government.”
