WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Republican Main Street Caucus Chairman Mike Flood (NE-01) issued a statement following a vote in the House to concur in the Senate amendments to H.R. 7148 - Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026.

“Today’s vote on FY26 budget bills represents a significant bipartisan achievement and reopens government agencies which had temporarily closed over the weekend. The House has led the way as Washington returns to regular order and restores fiscal sanity. There is still work to do to finalize FY26 funding for the Department of Homeland Security and that I’m confident that continued dialogue and negotiation between the White House and party leaders will help deliver this final bill in the coming weeks.”
